Brazosport Regional Auxiliary Awards Scholarships

The Auxiliary at Brazosport Regional Health System recently awarded three $1,500 scholarships to BRHS employees who are pursuing a career in the healthcare industry.
To qualify for the scholarship, each applicant had to demonstrate academic ability to complete college work, enroll in a minimum of six hours, and be employed with BRHS for at least 6 months.
The first 2008 scholarship recipient was Troy Coldwater, Wound Healing Manager. Troy is working to complete his prerequisites at Brazosport College and is planning to attend Texas Tech University to start his BSN (Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing). Kendra Nichols, Buyer for Materials Services was the second recipient and is currently attending Brazosport College in pursuit of a business degree. The third recipient was Lisa Schaubroeck, Nurse Educator. Lisa is working to complete her masters in nursing through online courses at UTMB.
